This hotel is disgusting. Mold can be found in the rooms, which smell terrible. Dirty frayed towels, body fluids from the previous guest on the shower walls, filthy carpet, dead bugs on the windowsills and the coffee pot had dried out brown stains from previous use and not being washed.
We basically just needed a room for before and after a concert at Stuart's Opera House. It was just about right for that. The shower was nice, and the room was clean.
The room was just as I expected for the price. The AC worked great. The noise from the highway was not as loud as I expected considering how close it is to the hotel.
They let themselves into my room while I was gone. Then lied about it. Didnât do any housekeeping. They were just snooping around for no reason. They saw that I was a smoker and wanted to make sure I wasnât smoking in the room. I had a chair and ashtray sitting outside.
Some pretty good stuff, they had a smartTV which is very rare even for more expensive hotels. The bed was nice and firm which is a big plus for me. Cleanliness was ok and the provided soap didn't work very well, cracked very easily.
I stay here several times and itâs recently been renovated with new paint and furniture. Working refrigerator and microwave. I found the mattress and sheets to be very comfortable. I slept quite well. It is next to a busy road so there is the expected traffic noise. The owners were so kind and helpful. Close to restaurants. As an overnight stay on my travel through, I highly recommend it. Great value for the price.
This location is family owned. The staff were all very friendly. Our room was a pleasant surprise! We werenât sure what to expect due to the low price, however, it was a great relief to have a nice, clean and comfortable room to stay in. We will DEFINITELY stay here again!
We had a good stay. A on the remodel for the cost of the room and where you are staying. Gentleman at the front desk was nice and accomodating. His wife the following day was very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. It is a remodeled motel outside still needs work as do the registers in the room. But beds were comfy and the room was clean. Was cleaner than most properties we stay at that cost more. Would not hesitate to stay again. It is hard to get back out if you have a trailer on.
The motel is older but had everything we needed to be comfortable. We read some of the reviews before booking and took a chance anyway. Some people want an economic value but expect the Marriot. The front desk was very friendly and called me shortly after we departed to let me know I forgot my pillow. We will stay again.
Google maps will take you past the motel.
We chose this place because it was the cheapest in the area and weren't expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean room with a new bed. The owner is on site and very accommodating. They even gave our truck a jump when the battery died so we were able to go get a replacement without hassle. The property was quiet at night without the usual "chaos" we've come to expect when staying in motels. I highly recommend Hometown Inn to everyone who wants a cheaper room with a higher standard.
