Fairmont needs to do quality control here
Fairmont hotels dropped the ball at this location.
Upon entering the room there was a weird smell. The bathroom smelled disgusting.
I don’t know it was due to lack of cleanliness or the building has a huge plumbing problems.l which I think it’s the latter.
Once we told the front desk they immediately sent people over and they sprayed stuff and odor was gone.
The service people were trying their best. So no complaints about them.
Overall the integrity of that very tall building was my concern. The room smelled moldy which was weird as it’s a desert, it’s not like humidity is an issue. Then we observed plumbing problems here and there.
Other than that of course the location is not beatable and that’s the reason we stayed there. Three stars are for the service people and the location
