Disappointing Second Stay with Poor Service
Our stay at Bluegreen Vacations The Breakers was disappointing due to recurring issues and poor customer service. This was our second time visiting the property, but after this experience, we will not be returning.
On the first morning, we discovered there was no hot water in the master bathroom. Maintenance came and "fixed" the issue, but the next morning, the water was either scalding hot or freezing cold, making it impossible to use.
On our second night, we experienced an internet outage. When we called the front desk, Yolanda rudely dismissed the issue, claiming it was probably a problem with our devices, despite everything working fine the previous night. She instructed us to call tech support, who confirmed that the entire property was affected and promised to notify guests once service was restored. When I informed the front desk of this, I was again rudely told the problem was on our end.
To make matters worse, when we checked out, another staff member confirmed that the outage was indeed property-wide and still unresolved.
The lack of reliable utilities and the dismissive attitude of the staff made for a frustrating experience. Basic hospitality—like acknowledging and addressing guest concerns with courtesy—was sorely lacking. We had higher expectations after our first visit, but this time left us disappointed and unwilling to return.
