Unprofessional and overall bad experience.
I sent this email to the manager of the hotel and nobody even bothered to acknowledge it so I am posting it it on here. This goes to show you how unbothered and unprofessional they are for a 5 star hotel.
I hope this email finds you well. I recently stayed at your hotel on Thursday 13th December and wanted to provide feedback on my experience, as it did not meet the expectations I had for a 5-star establishment.
My wife and I had traveled for three hours from London to celebrate my wife’s birthday and were looking forward to a comfortable and restful stay. While I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of the card and balloons in the room, unfortunately, the overall experience left us with a sour taste.
Upon arrival at 9:30 pm, I discovered there was no available parking. While the receptionist kindly directed me to an awkward space in the car park that wasn’t a proper bay, I was still charged £10 for parking. Considering this was not a designated space and the late hour of our arrival, I found the charge disappointing. I understand that policies are in place, but surely an exception could have been made given that we checked in so late and checked out at 8:30 am the next morning.
Upon entering the room, I was disheartened to notice several issues. There was an infestation of ladybirds on the ceiling, the throw on the bed had a large white stain and the curtains were torn. While I understand that occasional issues can arise, these problems were far below the standard expecte
