The apartment itself was nice, and the people were friendly, but the booking process was frustrating and misleading.
Hotels.com states you pay at the venue, but that’s not actually the case. Since the property isn’t manned 24/7, they send a separate payment link outside of Hotels.com. If you don’t see it in time, they will cancel your booking—even though you thought you had a confirmed reservation.
When my booking was canceled, I had to rebook at a higher price, and they didn’t refund the difference, which was extremely frustrating.
Check-in and the apartments are in different locations, which isn’t clearly explained.
Overall, while the stay itself was fine, this venue should not use Hotels.com if they operate this way. The platform is not suited for their process, and it creates a misleading experience for guests.
