Needs some work

We’ve stayed here before, and the property looked dirtier and worn down. The water heater is enough for 1 shower, so lots of cold showers and fights to be first in the shower! Easy communication with the property. The terrace is the treasure of this place!

Spacious & comfortable

Well equipped apartment in the old town. Nice and quiet and good for long stays. The reception staff are the nicest in Spain and make you feel very welcome.

Great location for a short stay

The apartment is in a great location in the heart of the old town of Alicante with museums, attractions and the beach all within walking distance. There are many bars a stones throw away which is great if you like a drink but it can get a little noisey at night on the weekends. As the area is in the old town there are many stairs and sloping streets around which could be difficult for those with mobility difficulties. The apartment was fairly clean, well presented and with a well equipped open-plan kitchen. It has more than enough space for a family of four. The staff at the reception which is located in another building a minutes walk away were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall a pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

El apartamento y la terraza es más amplio que la mayoria de los apartamentos de su categoria. Muy centrico. Precio muy atractivo. Falta sacacorchos y tazas de café. Y puestos a pedir copas de cava.

Super zentrale Lage, einige Minuten vom Hafen und Strand entfernt. Beim Platz Quijano mit direktem Blick auf die Burg Santa Barbara. Wunderschöne neue oder frisch renovierte Liegenschaft. Habe eine grosse 2 stöckige Wohnung mit Terrasse erhalten und war über die Grösse und den Komfort überglücklich. Ich habe mich sehr über dieses grosszügige wohnen während meinen Alicante Ferien gefreut.

Surprisingly good!

Great location in old town near the Santa Barbara elevator, restaurants, the harbour and the beach. Easy to check-in, friendly staff, clean room in good condition, nice beds. We were able to find free parking nearby. Perfect for shorter stays.

Tres bon appartement, bien situé.

Dans le coeur de la vielle ville. A proximité de tout, la réception est a moins de 100 m. Si vous souhaitez du repos attention aux week-end car il y a des bars a proximité qui font beaucoup de bruit, ce n’est pas genant si vous etes un couche-tard.

Supernöjda med lägenheten

Vi bodde i en lägenhet Apartamentos El Carmen med våra 2 tonårsbarn (13 och 16 år), och är jätte nöjda. Fräscht och rent städat, sköna sängar och verkligen centralt bra läge i Alicante. Trevlig städpersonal. Lägenheten passade oss perfekt med två sovrum, två toaletter, välutrustat kök med diskmaskin och tvättmaskin. Det ingick liten och bra frukostbuffé som serverades på "systerhotellet" La Milagrosa. Vi hade även tillgång till Milagrosas fina takterrass. Det enda negativa var incheckningen. Detta då personalen meddelat att vi bokat lägenheten för två vuxna, 1 barn 13 år och 1 spädbarn. Vi skulle då behöva betala extra ca 10-15 EURO/natt då vi alltså bokat "fel". Jag kollade på min Hotels.com app, och hittade att jag bokat för 2 vuxna och 2 barn, dock syntes inte barnens åldrar via appen. Som tur var hade jag även en utskriven bekräftelse, där det tydligt framgick barnens ålder, 13 och 16 år. Så fort jag visade pappers bekräftelsen, så godtog personalen det. Dock vet jag inte hur personalen hade hanterat bokningen och då fortsatt krävt eventuell extra kostnad om jag inte haft utskriven bekräftelse med mig...... Men även fast det strulade och kändes "skumt" vid incheckningen, så är vi mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på Apartamentos El Carmen.

Great location

On arrival we were allocated a street level apartment with metal shutters on the windows. We asked to change to a room where we could let light in through the window and the reception staff were helpful and accommodating. The second apartment was in another property belonging to the same owners - the Loft Carmen apts. it was large, clean, light and airy but very basic and lacking in comfort. There was no chopping board, can opener, scissors etc however there were toiletries provided in the bathroom. The location was very central and only minutes from all the main attractions. There were building works going on just opposite our building but it didn't really bother us as we were out all day. The wifi signal was great.

Short walk to beach and restaurants

There were some problems with house keeping and maintenance but solved immediately after reported it. It was quite noisy at night until 2-3 am. Reception staffs at the B & B are nice and helpful. You are able to leave luggage and have a shower at the B and B after check-out.

l'unico problema riscontrato (grosso) e' che il venerdi notte ed il sabato notte , i locali dietro all'appartamento fanno grande festa fino alle 5 del mattino , impedendo di dormire. Dettaglio simpatico , il noleggio gratuito dell'ombrellone alla reception.

Fine leiligheter

Apartamentos Carmen hadde en veldig sentral beliggenhet i gamlebyen i Alicante, og nært til stranden. Selve gata var stille og rolig - kanskje ikke Alicantes fineste strøk, men vi hadde ingen problemer. Leiligheten var romslig, ren og fin. Ganske behagelige senger og veldig okey bad. Det er ikke frokost tilgjengelig i bygget, men man kunne kjøpe dette hos den nærliggende Bed & Breakfasten. Mtp på prisen (3 euro pr pers) var det en helt grei frokost med toast, frukt, yoghurt, juice og kaffe. Om man ønsker å bo i en leilighet og samtidig sentralt kan Apartamentos Carmen absolutt anbefales. Litt dårlig utstyrt kjøkken dog (ingen utstyr til matlaging).

Ha sido un fin de semana caluroso...pero gracias al apartahotel nos lo ha hecho mas llevadero...solemos ir a Alicante varias veces al año y repetiremos aqui porque hemos estado muy agusto.

Excellent Apartments in Excellent Location

This was one of the best apartments we have stayed in. Right in the heart of old town Alicante, all the interesting places were within easy walking distance. The apartment was bright and clean and extremely comfortable, and the staff were excellent. Highly recommended.

Alicante överraskade!

Centralt hotell nära det mesta. Wifi funkade ganska dåligt. Alicante överraskade med att vara en riktigt kul/trevlig stad att spendera en weekend i.
