Very hard beds. We had room with two double beds. Very uncomfortable. We asked if they could do something about this (perhaps add a mattress topper etc.) and they gave us a key to a room with a king size bed to see if the bed was better. It was. But when we returned to say that we would like to switch there was discussion among the front desk people and it turned out this change was not possible so they gave us keys to another room to try out (it had double beds) and the beds were just as hard. We stayed with the hard bed for the remaining three nights. But for the hard bed, Hotel Principal is a good property right in the heart of CDMX.

Great location. King bedroom is a very small room. Can barely move in the bathroom. Couple hairs in the bed sheets makes your wonder if they were changed... and wasn't comfortable. Cool building and very nice / helpful front desk staff.
