I had stayed at this hotel previously and chose it this time because I knew it offered me value for money. It now has now owners ( I believe) and a new name - the Garden Terrace. The owners and staff are friendly and efficient and seem to be working hard to upgrade the place.
No direct shuttle. Did not say anything about the shuttle from the airport taking two and a half hours for the same price as a 6 minute taxi.
Had to change rooms 3 times but they got pergressivly worse. Fist was an AC unit that was loud. Second stunk and had no windows. Did not even try AC. Third rooms AC was louder than the first.
Was told by the desk clerk that was normal and I was unreasonable. He could not be bothered further as he was way into his on line videos.
I ended up walking around the neighborhood until it was time to get a cab to the airport.
Could not even sit and relax in the room as the AC was whistling like a soprano freight train.
Been staying at this hotel since 2011 but cleanliness of towels provided very dissappointing for the first time. Dirty, stained towels were provided. What more to say??
The attitude of the front desk staff is like we owe them a living. First impression already down the drain. When i got back the deposit, i said thank you and good bye, the counter staff just kept looking at the monitor. Talk about the deposit, dont understand when i had paid fully online. The towels were paper thin. Loose coloured threads on bed sheet, probably it was not new sheet. I will never stay there again even if it is free.
We booked a room for 2 plus my 1 year old baby for Oct 1, 2016. Room is small but it's enough for us. Toilet/bathroom isn't that small like what I read on some reviews. My overall rate is good. The room is clean as well as the toilet.
I stayed for 2days . First day the bed sheet and pillow case they did not change. It stinks. And dirty. As I check in around 10pm the room make up was not there any more. I am not able to sleep for the whole night. On the second day they change my sheets new as I can smell the new sheets freshness. Unbelievable....
There is a stinky smell along the corridor and in the room. I need to switch on the aircon to full blast to remove that smell and cos there is a top empty glass which the sunlight comes into the room that makes it very warm. The room is too small and crampy.
I'm an 84 year old female traveller and I had booked a single room at the hotel. When I arrived there I was unhappy with the room because it was too far away from the lift for me. I asked for a change of room but was told that there were no more suitable single rooms available. But once they realised that this situation was a real problem for me, they did their best to accommodate me for which I am very grateful because they ended up upgrading me to a double room very close to the lift at no extra cost. I am very impressed by their professionalism but even more by their kindness. Thank you very much to the management and staff, especially Raymond who was extremely helpful.
