I stayed here with my partner overnight for a funeral down the road.
I knew this was a motel and not a fancy resort or anything, so I went in with pretty low expectations, but overall I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and comfortable, looked like it may have been renovated recently. No bugs in the bed (I'm very paranoid about this!), and there was plenty of space on it for both of us, we had no trouble sleeping. The bed was most of the room, but that was fine with me. The shower was very roomy and clean as well, though it took a bit for the hot water to get running (it was also where I expected the cold water to be, which didn't help). It also came with free wifi and a large TV, though I didn't use either one so I can't speak to their quality.
I grew up in this neighborhood, so I know it very well, and I can confidently say there's not much going on here, although it's very close to Main Street in Patchogue by car (a Lyft cost like $15), which has a lot more to do.
The only part I was a little disappointed in was the front desk situation, it was a little one-person-at-a-time office with a glass window, which definitely felt sketchy. That said, the staff was nothing but polite and helpful when I had any questions, and the cleaning crew was clearly working hard, so it's definitely a minor complaint.
Overall, for a last-minute trip that I didn't plan to stay in my room much, this was excellent, exactly what I needed, and exceeded my expectations.
