Customer service training needed!
Our stay started out with a terrible check in experience from a very rude staff member. We were one of several sports teams staying in the hotel. We had asked to check in one room, one hour early, so that our team can drop their bags off the bus and change into their uniforms, etc. and she was not only not willing to even consider it, she was very rude about it. There was no line up or other people in the lobby and yet her excuse was that she had over 48 check-in's to process. This made no sense since starting that process earlier would have alleviated the amount. I have stayed at many hotels and the front desk is often willing to accommodate any reasonable requests. This person was horrible, rude, glared at us, glared at the other coaches, and overall should not be in customer service. Other than that, the rooms were decent, the breakfast was good, although it was slower service due to numbers in the morning, and the beds were comfy.
