The room was dirty. There was dust on the counters and refrigerator. There were burn marks on the blankets that they tried to hide by flipping them upside down. They only had one poor girl working almost continuously the whole weekend. They gave us only 1 key for 2 people which continually deactivated. They did not have cable or WiFi service during our stay. I believe they have residents that live at the hotel- There was a party until around midnight or later. The people below our room lit a small campfire right outside our door, sang songs, danced, and carried on all night long. The bathroom is tiny- Barely enough room to stand having only a toilet with a loose seat, a simple sink, and shower with a broken shower head. The smoke detector was hanging off the ceiling by wires just above the bed.
When I brought these issues to the employee at the desk, she said she would issue a full refund for our stay, but then couldn’t because we booked with Expedia. She asked me to call Expedia and give them her personal phone number so she could explain to give me the refund.
The girl that was working was nice enough, but absolutely everything else about the experience was a shudder-inducing catastrophe. I have never imagined such an awful experience. Avoid at all costs. You’d be more comfortable and safe sleeping in your car.
