The location of the hotel is not near the Yellowstone West Entrance. It is about 10-12 minutes from the "strip" of West Yellowstone and about 15-17 minutes from the entrance of Yellowstone. The exterior of the hotel looked newly renovated and the views of the mountains were nice, but that was misleading. The room we stayed in was small with outdated furnishings and decorations. I felt this Super 8 must have been given the "hand-me-downs" from some other hotel. We could hear other guests turning on and off their showers, talking, using their hair dryers, and walking up and down the hall ... hence the need for ear plugs. The views of the mountains were great, but the mosquitoes were terrible, therefore, bring OFF if you plan on enjoying the views outside. The continental breakfast was simply frozen waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, and prepackaged cinnamon rolls. The second morning we ate at McDonald's. We stayed 2 nights the first of June, and we were ready to leave. I would NOT recommend this hotel!!!
