I booked Family loft for our stay with 2 children. Prior to our arrival hotel sent us a nice welcome asking what we prefer. We asked for higher floor possible. When we arrived at 2 pm room was not ready but Reception assured ask that we have a nice suite with high floor and full mini fridge. When we returned, our room ended up to be on 5 floor put of 19 in hotel. To my surprise we had just 2 joined rooms with completely empty both fridges, no robes nor sleepers. I had to call front desk and after arguing we got couple of bottles of juice and robes. No matter what I was saying about our suite, I was told that that configuration IS the actual Family loft. I could simply book 2 rooms and pay less. After I put my review I got a call from the night manager with apologies and offer for free breakfast. The breakfast we accepted. To our surprise, the breakfast had very limited menu, but my biggest surprise was when we could only order one item from the menu. I ordered an omelet and it came without even piece of toast. I asked for a croissant, ut was told that it’s not included (!) and I would be charged extra. At the end we were not charged, ut when I looked at the website, that breakfast would cost us $135! My suggestion, if you need stay there, do not pay for breakfast. We also was charged $45 resort fee? No pool, no any resort amenities. I guess it’s another NYC privilege tax.
