ABA Athens Boutique Apartments

It was great stay even I stayed there only 1 night. Since I drove from Thessaloniki to Athens my check-in time was late over 7p.m. But the manager of this hotel Mr. George kindly waited for me and guided everything to check in and explained very well. It was very spacious especially in living room. Great location to access many tour sites. They do offer airport shuttle service and I surely satisfied with it since I had a lot of baggages. The best thing was Mr. George let me check out at 2 p.m. since my flight time was 6 p.m. Very good response and hospitality. Highly recommend!

Great location, just a short walking distance to Acropolis. Plenty of restaurants and shops all around. Five minute walk from a metro station with access to the airport (an hour or so ride). We stayed in touch with the property manager via phone and whatsapp and he met us in front of our apartment building when we arrived. He also arranged our early morning transportation back to the airport. The management was very courteous and helpful. The apartment was just lovely. Nice kitchen with all necessary utensils and complimentary coffee. The heater worked great and kept the apartment nice and cosy. Shower heat is solar power operated, so follow the instructions from the management on how to use it. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay, and would stay in this apartment again.

The apartment was clean but there were some issues. The "guest" bathroom smelled of sewer and mold was growing through the broken sheetrock in the shower area. The smell was so bad that we had to stuff towels under the door. Yuck!! The Living Room furniture was the same age as the Acropoli and about as comfortable. This was disappointing. There were no paper towels in the kitchen nor toilet paper in the bathroom. We bought our own at the local market and left the extra for the next guest - you're welcome. The apartment location was not exactly as what had been represented. Several very busy streets had to be crossed in order to get to shopping and restaurants. This move did cause some inconvenience. The apartment faced a very busy street so the only quiet time was from midnight to 6am. Luckily we did not travel to Athens to sleep.

Was just what we needed as we travelled country to country in Europe! Location is amazing and can see the Acropolis from the balcony; however, we did get stuck on the balcony due to a problem with the door and had to contact management... but were able to fix the problem ourselves (do not shut the balcony door (it gets sticky!). Was very thrilled to have 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to ourselves along with a washing machine. We will definitely stay again next one we’re in Athens! Also, George is amazing!!

Our overall stay was average. There was limited hot water, so there were a few showers that were ice cold. Also, there were several large bugs in the kitchen which was not the most pleasant experience.
