We drove up from Dc and when arriving we were happy they had valet. Two attendants were outside but never came to the car to inquire about if we wanted to park. At that point, I got out and walked over only to find them in deep conversation about football. I decided to self park. Check in was smooth. I asked for a higher floor but was told no rooms with double beds were available. Get to the room, and it was FREEZING! Turned on the heat but couldn't take it. It was just too cold. We called down to seebif we could get another room. She said yes! It was so great to hear! But thinking, I was told no were rooms were available. We were moved to a better room on the 4th floor. We had some time before our dinner reservations, so we decided to enjoy a glass of wine we had brought. Went down to the bar to have the bottle opened, and the bartender wasn't so nice, seemed annoyed to help. I was quite aware of the cork fee, but her attitude in emphasizing the fee was disappointing. She missed out on a tip. Overall we were only there for one night sonwe made it work. The shower was great, room was clean, just wish they had better customer service.
