The staff is lovely, knowledgable and professional. The breakfast was nice but closed a bit early. The room was ok, but had a strange uriny moldy smell. The front desk sent me a cleaning spray up to the room but I went out next day and bought a room spray. The bed was not nearly as nice (sheets blankets and comfortable mattress) as the other similarly priced hotels in the area. Even the other H2 hotel in town was nicer, and the bed had more luxurious bedding and mattress.
I wanted to bring my daughter to visit at the pool but it was not nice enough to invite her. It is small, on the second floor with high traffic noise and the amenities and tables were discolored with chipped fading paint and a full surrounding deck in need of replacement. Do not go to this hotel for the pool. But you would like to stay close to the medical center and have easy access to Munger and the arts district, its OK. I'd give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10.
