051 Room & Breakfast

Great boutique b and b. Stylish, comfortable, great location. Lovely breakfast. Drinks and cakes available all day.

We had a wonderful visit to 051. We got a great rundown of Bologna during our check in. The staff was super friendly and helpful all around. The room was nice, clean and well thought out. In the center of the city, the location can't be beat. It was a comfortable place to stay and we'd be glad to go back.

Fabulous little B and B right in the heart of Bologna couldn’t be a better location. Lovely fresh breakfast and snacks all ways available. Very helpful and informative staff. Our only criticism was the noise that came from the flat above, sounded at times like there was high heeled dancing going on at 2am! But Not the hotels fault, the trouble with being in a block of apartments and not the whole building belonging to 051! But a lovely place to stay and explore Bologna.

The room was lovely, although brighter lighting is needed for reading. The breakfast is a bit limited with far too many cakes and not enough savoury items, such as eggs. The location is excellent for sight-seeing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. One key per couple is awkward as it meant that someone always had to be nearby with the key. However, one serious drawback is the noise level from the apartments above. The early morning cleaning is very noisy from around 06:30 with banging, and the loud hum of vacuum cleaners. This spoiled an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Salvatore and his team were absolutely incredible in helping in any way possible to make our holiday pleasant. A bottle of wine was given for our anniversary celebration, dinner reservations at great places, and a day of planning for us in Modena. You can't go wrong staying at this centrally located, well operated B&B.
