The first impression was clean and good. I booked a single double room for 2 people for 3 nights and there were no more rooms for consecutive nights, so I booked a twin bed room for the next 3 nights. However, I found out on the 4th day when I checked in that I had made a mistake and booked for 1 person. After checking out of the single room, when I checked in to the twin room, they said that I had booked for 1 person and that I would have to pay 3,000 yen per night for an additional person, for a total of 9,000 yen. I admit my mistake, but when I checked again on Hotels.com for 2 people, there was only a difference of about 1,000 yen, so I asked why it was more expensive on the spot, and they said that I had to pay an additional 3,000 yen per night and told me to ask Hotels.com about it. In particular, the older female staff member did not listen to me and only talked about herself, which was very rude. Even after I paid the extra money, she did not greet me or make eye contact, and got angry at the young staff member who was helping me in front of me. This was the worst service ever. Also, when I asked about the room TV remote control, they said that it did not work well and told me to press it hard to use it. Is this really a hotel that costs 20,000-30,000 yen per night? It's the worst hotel service I've ever experienced in my trip to Japan, and there aren't many restaurants around, and the only thing it does is have a nice view!
