Lion Premium Hotel

Despite being located on a main tourist street, the hotel is quiet inside and the interior decor far exceeds the appearance of the hotel's slightly questionable frontage. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, with decent size beds that are comfortable. The hotel staff are always happy to answer questions and the reception is manned 24 h a day. Breakfast is basic European fare but is sufficient to start your day before heading out for lunch at the local restaurants, which are plentiful in this area and fairly inexpensive. The majority of tourist attractions are within walking distance or can be explored using a hop-on hop-off bus, with bus stops only a few minutes walk away. The terminal for boat tours is also only a short walk away. The 100E bus stop which serves the airport is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, although this can be very busy so arriving early is a must.

The hotel does not have an elevator, but we knew that at booking and it was not an issue. The location was the reason we picked this hotel and it was perfect. Great night life with lots of restaurants and close to sightseeing areas. The street the hotel is on is a walking street, so the minute you step out, you are in the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was good with omelettes, breads, cereal, croissants, etc. A nice lady helps and gives great service.

A great little hotel in a terrific area. Staff were fabulous and so very helpful and nice.

Location was excellent, only drawback was some construction on the street in front. Should be done in the next few months. No elevator and all rooms are on the 2nd floor. Staff was extremely helpful.
