Highly recommend
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We stayed for two nights this time and are always amazed at how efficient, friendly, and accommodating all of the staff is. The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety and was well-stocked and delicious. The kids loved the variety of snacks available for purchase in the lobby. The room was clean and well-appointed. We didn't use the pool or workout areas but they looked very clean and appealing. This is the third or fourth time we've stayed here while in the area. Honestly, we don't bother looking at other hotels anymore because we know we won't be disappointed if we stay here.

Awesome staff!
It's not that it is particularly fancy, but it is a great vibe overall. The staff is excellent, some of the best, friendliest that I have encountered in most travels recently. Lots of wonderful suggestions about things to see and do locally as well as takes on the food options. Can't say enough positive about the staff here.

Breakfast Was The Best Part of The Stay
The hotel was beautiful. The breakfast offerings were phenomenal and the gentlemen who worked the breakfast bar went above and beyond to make sure the offerings were fresh and the bar was clean. There were a few things that detracted from our trip. As you exit the elevator, there is a sign notifying of quieter hours. However, we shared a floor with a teenage hockey team that had no regard for quieter hours. One night, we had a hard time sleeping as there were teenagers running up and down the halls, pounding on each others doors, yelling for them to open the door. Also, in the bathroom, there is a sticker on the mirror notifying that housekeeping comes every other day of your stay. We stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping never came to the room. We do not expect a full service every day, but fresh towels and having our trash emptied every other day of the stay would have pleased us. We were left calling for towels when needed. In fact, we never saw a housekeeping cart on the hall until the day of checkout. Overall, when we return to Buffalo on the near future, we are thinking of staying here again, as it’s in a convenient location to where we need to be, but hope to have a quieter stay with housekeeping attention.

Sleepless in the Tru
This was our first stay at a Tru and probably our last. It is a new property in excellent condition. The floors are not carpeted which is ok but the occupants above us apparently couldn't sleep so they thumped around the whole night resulting in us not sleeping either. With hard surfaces on the floor better sound deadening between floors is needed! I guess I've eaten one too many "free" breakfasts. The hot food tasted like it had been over the steno can too long. Should have stuck with the bagel! The coffee was undrinkable. Fortunately there was a Paula's donuts two miles up the road.

Overall a great stay! Very clean bedroom, fairly large, well equipped. A comfy bed, modern bathroom. Taking 1 star off because of breakfast: we went for breakfast towards the tail end of it, and there was barely anything left … had to ask for coffee (canister was empty) and staff didn’t seem thrilled. Yogurt dispenser was empty, so were other items. Cheese omelette was edible but honestly not good, pancakes made by the machine were fun but just basic. Other than that, a great stay, parking was easy, everything seemed fairly new and clean.
