Pousada Vila Óbidos

This was a great place and I would stay again and/or recommend to friends and famikt.

got a tiny room (about 2.5X2.5) on a pavement level , despite the fact we've booked a higher than standard room. Other than that, a nice stay - the place is quite new and well maintained. A little patio where you can have your breakfast is a nice touch.

Fantasy stay, fantastic town. Helpful team and excellent brand new facilities.

Overall is good with free breakfast. It is very difficult to find and to drive to the hotel which is behind the castle wall. When we finally drove to the hotel entrance, we found that we had to do the check in at the Pousada de Castello Óbidos. We gave up driving there again after a hectic search. Instead, we walked to the reception, about 10mins walk. It will be nice if the hotel can give a route map to drive to the hotel and also information on how to check in. This hotel is the sister hotel of Pousada de Castello Óbidos.

We stopped at Óbidos only briefly and found this small boutique hotel quite charming, it is an old building modernized - just like any other hotels in the historic town. The room we stayed in was spacious enough, with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was good too. The only shortcoming is that it is difficult to find, even with google map and gps navigator.
