The Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Turin organises a wide range of educational itineraries and family activities throughout the year. Both children and adults can experiment, play and learn about the beauty and significance of various artistic expressions.
The art gallery's permanent exhibits include 19th-century paintings and sculptures as well as 20th-century Italian and European works by the likes of Balla, Boccioni, De Chirico, Ernst and Klimt. Photography without flash is permitted, so you can take photos of your favourite art during your visit.

You can extend your visit to a stadium of the same name, which gives you access to exclusive areas. Besides J-Museum, you can visit sites of special importance for Juventus players in Turin via a guided bus tour. It usually leaves from the museum's Bay 7 parking.

Sassi–Superga tramway

The Sassi–Superga tramway takes you to the summit of Superga Hill at an altitude of 672 metres. The route covers over 3 km, with a 425-metre vertical drop and an average gradient of 13.5%. You can take to Sassi station from Turin's centre via Tram 15 from Piazza Castello.
Make yourself comfortable in the original 1934 carriages (when the already 50-year-old tramway was revamped). The Basilica of Superga greets you upon arrival, with its impressive dome, Tombe dei Savoia (tombs of the Savoys), and panoramic views of Turin and the Alps.

You can join an educational tour or just stroll through hedges, statues, streams and pools. The Giardino delle Sculture Fluide (Garden of Fluid Sculptures) is particularly impressive, even for children. Natural elements form transitions between art installations. A trackless train takes you through the Lower park area to the ruins of the Temple of Diana.

Each car is connected to a historical, sporting, social or cultural breakthrough. There's a Fiat Model 4 from 1911 that was used by King Victor Emmanuel III for his travels during WWI, a 1950 Isotta Fraschini featured in the film Sunset Boulevard, and a Ferrari 312 T5 driven by Gilles Villeneuve.

Museo A come Ambiente (MAcA) is a great place to learn about reusing objects, recycling waste, and living sustainably. The science museum occupies 3 buildings in Parco Dora (Dora Park), about 4 km northeast of central Turin.
The museum's exhibits are split into themed areas like water, energy and nutrition. It aims to stimulate children's curiosity, encouraging them to research, explore and learn about the importance of the environment and protecting it. Weekdays are reserved for pre-booked groups, but everyone can visit MAcA on weekends without prior reservatons.
