Since opening in Fujinomiya in 2009, Soba-no-Mi IKKANNJIN has drawn in the crowds with its excellent soba (buckwheat noodles). Check out the jyuwari kikouchi seiro (soba made from 100% buckwheat flour) or the genbiki seiro, made by grinding the black husk of the buckwheat in a stone mill, which really brings out the flavour.
The soba and udon noodles served here are all handmade. Multi-course meals are served at night, with seasonal dishes and desserts skilfully prepared by a chef trained in Japanese cuisine. Preschool children are not allowed to enter at lunchtime. Also, you'll need to make a reservation if you want to dine here at night.

Within walking distance of the Shiraito Falls, Mume-san is a restaurant that introduces tourists to the culture of Fujinomiya yakisoba (fried noodles) and other local teppanyaki (dishes cooked on a hot steel plate). There’s always a long queue outside the Sano Shokudo restaurant thanks to its excellent ramen, rice bowls, set meals, and famous Fujinomiya yakisoba (fried noodles). Numazu Uogashizushi Nagarezushi Fujinomiya boasts the freshest seafood from Suruga Bay, brought in each morning directly from the Numazu Fish Market. The nigiri-zushi (hand-pressed sushi) and kaisen-don (rice bowl topped with seafood) are served in generous portions, and even the ara-jiru (a broth made from the bony parts of fish) comes with plenty of fish meat.
While this is a chain restaurant, many of the items on the menu are exclusive to the Fujinomiya branch, and there’s a variety of seasonal a la carte dishes which are excellent with drinks. It's hardly surprising that the restaurant is always full with locals and tourists alike. In fact, this is one of the most successful restaurants in Fujinomiya.

Omiya Yokocho Puku-ichi is a showroom of Kitagawa Seianjo, a producer well known for its special anko (red bean paste). Cooked with spring water from Mt. The company is doing its bit to spread the word about Fujinomiya yakisoba, which has become a national sensation after winning the B-1 Grand Prix national competition for local soul foods, by serving it to tourists in Omiya Yokocho, just steps away from the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine.
The menu includes not only the standard version using meat, cabbage, green onions, and sardine shavings as ingredients, but also a wide variety of other styles of the dish. If you’re looking for the best yakisoba, this should definitely be on your list.

Marugame Seimen Fujinomiya is a branch of the famous kama-age udon (straight-from-the-pot udon) chain that also operates internationally (as MARUGAME UDON).
