We have rounded up all of the best night markets in Singapore and provided you all with you the essential information you need to know, such as price, location, opening times and what you can expect to find.
Singapore’s shopping scene is more associated with gleaming 21st-century megamalls, but this is Southeast Asia after all, and no Southeast Asian city is complete without at least a handful of cool markets. Most of Singapore’s night markets are located near the city centre, around some of the popular ethnic enclaves such as Chinatown, Little India and the Arabic Quarter. So, skip the malls for an evening and head to one of these vibrant markets in Singapore.

Chinatown Street Market
Food, souvenirs (daily) - Chinatown

Több mutatásaRunning every day from 9.30am to 8pm – but only really getting busy in the evening – Chinatown Street Market is one of the most popular of its type in Singapore, offering a range of fashion items, antiques, souvenirs and electronics. What we really love about this market, however, is the wealth of street food and cheap restaurants all crammed into the relatively small space.
Also known as ‘Chinatown Food Street’, this outside hawker-style area is where you’ll find all the Singaporean classics such as stingray, satay, roast duck, chicken over rice, kway teow, dim sum and laksa, with most dishes going for around S$5-10. Find the market on Pagoda Street, Trengganu Street, Sago Lane, Smith Street and Temple Street near Chinatown MRT Station.

Bugis Street Market
Clothing, electronics (daily) - Bugis
- Ételek
- Éjszakai élet
- Vásárlási lehetőségek
Több mutatásaThis must-visit market is one of the biggest, cheapest and hottest places to come shopping in the whole of Singapore. Many of the little trinkets here such as souvenir key chains, postcards and stationary are available from as little as S$1, and there is a whole range of clothes on offer, too.
Although not exactly Singapore’s most cutting-edge fashion hotspot, quality items for all tastes can be found if you look hard enough. A pair of jeans can set you back just S$10, shirts and T-shirts from S$5, sunglasses and hats from S$2 and shoes from S$15. To find it, look for the red-roofed entrance near Bugis MRT Station or just follow the crowds.

Tekka Centre
Fresh/cooked food, clothing (daily) – Little India
- Ételek
- Éjszakai élet
Több mutatásaLittle India’s Tekka Centre may not be the most glamorous place to do your shopping in Singapore, but it does offer a more authentic taste of Singapore’s market scene compared to other locations. The multi-purpose centre, located on the corner of Buffalo and Serangoon Road, doubles up as a wet market (fresh seafood and vegetables) on the ground floor, while you’ll find some clothing and hardware stores upstairs. There’s also plenty of hawker stalls spread across the complex; come here for the $8 Biryani sets and you won’t leave disappointed.

Little India Arcade
Clothing, accessories, fabrics (daily) – Little India
- Éjszakai élet
- Vásárlási lehetőségek
Difficult to miss with its bold orange façade shining brightly on the already-colourful Serangoon Road, this complex presents a good collection of Indian and Arabian clothing, fabrics and homeware.
Meander through the series of tight alleyways to uncover traditional dresses, dried herbs and spices, flamboyant accessories, colourful artwork, aromatic incense and sweet shops – all for discounted prices. To avoid the crowds, visit in the day; to avoid the heat, visit in the evening (a bit of a catch 22 we know).

China Square Central Flea Market
Flea market (weekends) – Chinatown
- Éjszakai élet
- Vásárlási lehetőségek
Come to China Square any Saturday or Sunday to find this rather old-yet-quaint flea market, with numerous stalls and tables laid out both inside and outside the building complex. You could call this a flea market of sorts (even though most flea markets don’t have air conditioning), with the variety of items on sale including toys, retro comic books, antiques, artwork, vintage china items, old clocks, phones, and second-hand books.
The market is spread out over 2 floors and they really pack the stalls in. It’s fun and presents an interesting shopping alternative in Chinatown.
Elhelyezkedés: 18 Cross Street, China Square Central, (Marsh and McLennan Centre), Singapore
Nyitvatartás: Weekends from 9 am to 6 pm
