Hit and Miss
I stayed here before and absolutely love the gardens and little pools at the hotel and thought it would be a nice family spot because the shuttle to the beach and use of loungers is super convenient (though shuttle runs only 1/hr and sometimes leaves early so you need to be in the lobby waiting at least 15min in advance). The beach is lovely with super calm water and fair number of loungers with shade. However, Rodney Bay seems to be much less busy than it used to be; by 7pm, all shops and a lot of smaller restaurants are already closed, so you really need to rely on the hotel for activities and getting actuate information about what activities are available was a major issue (and quality varied). Service in general is not good - no one will go out of their way. Most of the staff are friendly enough but some are are almost hostile to guests. Expect long waits in restaurants - up to ten minutes just to be seated at a table that wasn't cleaned or set with cutlery. You might ask three times for coffee and still have to get it yourself. There are very few vegetarian options; the food is overall expensive and not very good (and not consistent: had a great wrap at the resort one day and then a mediocre one the next day). Breakfast was just ok; there was salt fish on offer at least twice and never any pancakes or waffles or anything of that sort, but there is a very good egg station. Gym is tiny but new equip. Rooms are ok but dated. Showers with poor pressure, inconsistent heat.
