Did not even get to check in. I was not aware about limited check in hours 3-5. Terrible policy. No email saying we had to check in before 5pm. No staff available after 5 apparently.

Would not recommend
All staff I encountered was friendly. Property looked very nice and is gated. The office is only open 8 to 5, we got there about five minutes before closing to check in. Because of this, we were unable to talk to anybody about getting a new room. The one that we got, smelled very strongly of urine, had a very large, dead cockroach in the middle of the floor, and an uneven unstable floor with Lifting and loose tiles. We live about 45 minutes from the property, but chose to get a room for the night because of a concert. I was fully ready to leave as soon as the sun rose because I did not sleep all night, because of the urine smell. However, the dropbox that was supposed to be there for early check out was not there, so we were forced to wait until 8 when the office opened. The lady checking me out did not even ask how my stay was, which triggered me so I let her know how it was. The grounds are very well kept, and they also have RV spots. The location is very convenient, though very close to the train tracks. So it may be a good option if you are looking to camp. But I would not rent a villa here again.

Confused
All I received from the property was a gate code, there wasn’t instructions on when the office closes or what to do after the office closes. Then the suite had a Musty smell, we found a live LARGE roach in the garbage can and the cable went out at midnight.

Nice place, next time my husband and I will stay with our travel camper. We stayed in a Villa and although it is a little dated, it was very clean and comfy. Justin and other staff were great! The pool, hot tub and restroom at the pool was clean. And the best part is how affordable the price is for summer rates. We have not checked winter rates, as summer is so hot in the southern California desert (we are from Phoenix). We would stay again for sure! And Acrisure Arena is across the highway, so we will be back for concerts too!

Frustrating for
Arrived early thought we’d try for an earlier check in and was informed they were still cleaning it. This was close to 1pm, went to lunch and came back exactly at 3pm and was told it wasn’t ready but then it was ready. Electrical outlets don’t work in master bedroom or bathroom. The blinds I. Master bedroom are broken and kept falling throughout the night. Whe called front desk about we were told they had no maintenance on duty.

Terrible. Don’t stay here.
Check in was at 3pm. We arrived at 4pm. Front desk checked us in and when we got to the unit, a housekeeper was still cleaning. She seemed shocked that we were there. The room configuration online was also incorrect. In the description it said there was a twin size couch pullout. That was not accurate. The air conditioning was also not working great. Steven and Justin rode over in a golf cart and apologized for all the issues. They told me the room would be reimbursed in full. I told them I booked through Hotels.com and they said it was a simple process they were aware of and that they would take care of it. Our group was getting ready for our concert while housekeeping tried to finish cleaning the unit. We had to scurry from room to room as sections were cleaned and ready for us. We had to get dressed inside the walk in closet and got creative with sharing the master bathroom mirror. We left the unit behind schedule and barely made our concert. I also called the office to request toilet paper and never got a call back. Fast forward to 14 days later and the hotel has yet to approve the refund to Hotels.com. I have been copied on several emails from Hotels.com to The Villas at Emerald Suites and they have refused to respond. I have also stayed on hold many times while Hotels.com has tried to call. These calls are also ignored. Don’t stay here. They’re unorganized and liars. They made me a false promise of reimbursement so now I have to contact my cc to dispute charges.

Super nice staff and very accommodating of my late arrival. Temps were in the 110’s and the AC was ice cold. The bed was pretty comfy though the bedding was more polyester than I like. (Makes me sweat) the kitchen was small but fairly well stocked with a fridge/freezer, a cook top, tea kettle and a kuerig for coffee. Good selection of dinnerware and pots and utensils. If I wanted to cook, I could have. The two things that bugged me and lowered my rating: 1) there was coffee but no sugar or creamer - not even the fake crap. 2) the floor in the bedroom felt like it had big holes under the carpet - it was a minefield and I tripped twice. (No harm done just lots of swearing)

Nice place to stay
Overall it was spacious and nice. The grounds were a bit rough, and the grass was pretty dead, but it was summer and hot. Units could use carpet to be replaced with Tile, which might be cleaner for all. All who worked there were very kind. We will stay there again.
