We arrived to this hotel, check in was speedy and all started well. We left for lunch and returned to find that the AC was not working, I went to check to the front desk since no one answered the phones. They failed to notify us that the AC went down. We were assured that it was back up we waited with no change, and I was traveling with a child. We continued to wait, but anyone in their right mind would not keep a child in a hot room during a heat wave. I attempted to cancel with Expedia and the hotel before the deadline, and they failed to assist us. We left and found another hotel that was able to accommodate us. When asked why they didn't answer the phone, the clerk claimed that he was the only one and could not deal with the phones and deal with guests checking in. I was hopeful for this location, but it was a let-down, and so was Expedia in handling our unique and stressful situation.
