We prepaid through Hotels.com when we checked the front desk said we had to pay. We showed our transaction that it was prepaid they told us they have to charge and when we check out we get a refund. Was told this happens all the time with people who pay through third party. We checked out the next day and they did not refund. We asked to speak to manager and spoke to Jordan Wiley. She said no refunds because they donât collect from third party so we pay them only. We show two transactions on our statement with hotels.com and with Zypher cove. Manager said she canât do anything and they donât accept third party payments. She says this never happens but two other staff employees told me this is common and I will get my refund. The manager said no itâs not common and they only take payment in person. So they will not refund and we have to figure this out with Hotels.com
First the positive; steps to the beach, cute cabins that are very comfortable. On the down side; there were many small repair issues in the cabin that made it feel shabby. Word to the wise; the kitchen is under equipped. There werenât any pans for the oven, and very few essentials like salt or pepper. The water temperature is set dangerously high, so be careful not to get scalded. The WiFi is very spotty, and the TV service was out during our stay. If that is important to you, call ahead to check.
This would be a great hideaway if some basics were attended to.
It was a peaceful and beautiful place to go the environment was friendly and quiet the cabin was immaculate and and the scenery was great the kitchen that was awesome fully stocked with dishes
Front desk clerk was nice and accommodating. Great location and price. Only negative was there that there were several small spiders and webs in the cabin. Ended up taking some home in my luggage.
I felt like this place was in an excellent location and pretty clean. The pillow cases had a couple of small discoloration spots, and the ceiling fan could has used a pretty good dusting. Other than that.. clean. The furnace heater was SUPER dated and ticked for about 5-10 min before it actually lit. Huge delay in starting but it worked. Microwave was very old as well. For $200 a night, itâs easy to provide an upgraded microwave. Everything else was awesome, and very satisfactory. I will go back!
We stayed for the weeked and enjoyed every minute! Cabins are small but well done. A 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurant, bar, gift shop. Perfect location - far enough away from the beach to be peaceful and quiet, but close enough to be on the beach quickly....
The location was fantastic. The staff was great and very helpful. I liked having the restaurant on-site--good breakfast menu--lunch and dinner menu was limited.
The cabin itself appeared a bit dated. The shower stall and curtain needed updating. The carpet needed vaccuuming.
We stayed actually in one of the lodge rooms, very comfortable, and warm on a winter day. There was a smell of mold in the room, but not sure what that was about.
We wanted to request an early check in and found it quite difficult to reach the front desk. Once we did, however, they were very flexible and accommodating. Overall it was a nice stay
