The hotel is in a lovely position, opposite Vondel Park, is very close to the major museums and close shops and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and the hotel has a very relaxed vibe. I really enjoyed my stay and the room was a sanctuary to come back to after a busy day sightseeing and shopping.

We absolutely loved S&A Vondelpark, our room was on the 3rd floor and the building is so full of character while still having every amenity needed. The common areas and fireplace downstairs are very nice, the staff are friendly and the location is outstanding - vondelpark, cafes, restaurants, shopping are all so.convenient. Really a beautiful space all around--the common areas are well-appointed, and my individual room was quite large and very comfortable. This hotel is really convenient for getting around: it's a quick walk to the Museumplein, and the tram is just a couple of blocks away. There is also a good grocery store, some restaurants, and a great gelato shop just on the other side of Vondel Park--a six minute walk or so. I only spent two nights here this time, but will definitely try to return on my next trip to Amsterdam!
