Firstly the Pros.
The resort looks amazing, great scenery and surroundings.
They definitely try to create an experience.
The food is fresh and a lot of care and attention is given to it, the portions are also good.
Swimming pools is nice and it is next to a river which you can swim in or kayak if weather permits
The cons.
Although the service is great when it works, it is inconsistent, they don't always respond quickly.
They muddled my son's birthday cake and gave us the wrong cake which got mixed up with a couples anniversary cake, this was a massive blunder and could not be rectified.
The pricing of the food is not clear and transparent, sometimes it's a buffet and sometime a fixed menu but the pricing is not clearly communicated.
The onsite activities are over priced especially when you include resort fees on top. You could book these directly for cheaper if you have a car
Sometimes it feels they pester you with booking activities
There is no wifi in the rooms which is not great when it rains as you are mostly stuck in your room
The rooms don't have windows instead they have mosquito nets, so if it gets really hot the AC in the room is not effective
