The hotel was very convenient and the owners were accommodating. The property and the room were lost somewhere in the 1970’s, though, and could use some serious updating. Stains on the carpet, frost in the mini fridge, and a bug in the ice bucket were low points. This is Simsbury, though, and the nightly rate is very low for the valley, so you should understand that you get what you pay for. For my needs, it was adequate.
