I have stayed at Alila Bangsar multiple times, and the hotel interior never ceases to impress me. It is both beautiful and comfortable, providing a luxurious ambiance that makes each stay memorable. However, my most recent visit had a few hiccups that marred the experience.
Firstly, the room curtains and the toilet sliding door in my room malfunctioned, both failing to close properly. This was quite inconvenient and unexpected, considering my previous positive experiences here.
Additionally, there was some confusion with the room arrangements. I had booked two rooms with single beds, but upon arrival, one room had a King and a Queen bed instead. The other room, which was supposed to have a King bed and a sofa bed, ended up being quite similar to the first room configuration. It felt like all the rooms were almost identical despite the different descriptions.
Another point worth mentioning is the surrounding environment of the hotel. The area gives off a somewhat dodgy, low-end vibe with very narrow roads, which can be off-putting.
Despite these issues, the hotel itself remains a haven of comfort and beauty. The service is excellent, consistently meeting high standards. If the room and environmental issues can be addressed, Alila Bangsar would undoubtedly provide an impeccable stay.
