Everything was great. The staff was one of the most polite and helpful staffs I have ever experienced at a hotel. It helped make our trip to Kyoto Japan even more enjoyable and memorable. I will plan to stay there again if future plans take me to Kyoto Japan.

Room was clean and well appointed though the shower was a little tricky for us middle-aged westerners - sorry! Absolutely amazing view of the castle. I wished we had asked or been made aware of the hotel amenities upon check in because there were a few we should have taken advantage if. The bell captain was amazing! And the shuttle to the station a big plus. Will def keep this hotel in mind for future trips.

It had rounded ceilings, built in mirror frames that blended seamlessly with the walls and stunning lighting to highlight all these details. Definitely one of the more interesting places we’ve recently stayed at. Would book again.
