The room was spacious, but average over all. Noticable wear and tear with some things (tub had signs of aging, peeling wallpaper). Also no privacy screen blinds.
The coffee maker was broken (when we went to brew cup, it would brew a small amount of super strong coffee then just stop, despite having sufficient water). They did send new coffee maker, but no replacement coffee to use; nor did housekeeping come that day and refresh the coffee station (so only drinkable coffee in room 1/3 days).
Sound proofing was atrocious, heard anyone going past if they were talking.
Pool on 18th floor was nice, but staff rude. Also apparently have to book a time slot to use the pool and you cant move the chairs to an out of way area closer to the hottub.
Elevators take forever at peak times. On way down with bellhop, lady said they had waited 10min and the employee said "only 10 min, not too bad".
Overall it felt like the hotel staff all just hated their jobs. Also very pushy/rude when it came to the drop off zone/parking entry. Every time someone dropped us off they would stop us, ask if we were checking in for parking and as soon as we said no, just dropping off, it was "oh. Its 10 min maximum" as if we were being a bother for utilizing the drop off/pick up area.
Positive notes are the designated smoking area out front, making it less awkward when stepping outside for a quick smoke. And the watermark fallsview restaurant on the top floor was absolutely amazing. High end dinner dining.
