Review of Royal Solaris: A Disappointing Stay
I recently stayed at the Royal Solaris with high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. If you’re considering booking a stay here, I strongly recommend saving your money and looking for a better hotel.
Food: A Major Letdown
One of the biggest disappointments was the food. Considering the price we paid, I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the majority of the dishes were bland and lacked variety. The dining experience was made even worse by the outdated reservation system, which is managed through an app that feels like it hasn’t been updated in decades. Forcing guests to navigate this clunky system only added to the frustration.
Room service, though available for a $6 fee, was another letdown. Not only did it take over 30 minutes to arrive, but it often came with errors, requiring an additional 20 minutes to correct. The quality of the food was no better than what was served in the dining areas—bland and uninspiring.
Cleanliness Issues
The cleanliness of the rooms was also disappointing. The vents were extremely dirty, and the mirrors and glass surfaces were far from spotless. The pool area was equally neglected; it wasn’t properly cleaned, and the children’s slides had stains from paint and other debris. To top it off, we encountered massive cockroaches, which was absolutely unacceptable.
