My recent stay at the Divine Experience Hotel left me feeling underwhelmed, despite the hefty price tag. As an interior designer myself, I couldn't help but notice several missing touches that would have made a big difference.
First off, the flooring near the outdoor pool was dangerously slippery, making me feel like I was on thin ice every time I walked there. A simple floor mat would have mitigated this risk, enhancing both safety and comfort. Additionally, the lack of towels was disappointing, necessitating a separate set for pool use to maintain hygiene standards.
The loud fridge was another annoyance that kept us up at night. We had to unplug it just to get some shut-eye. Plus, despite it being April, the room was sweltering hot, and the AC seemed to be more for decoration than functionality.
The speakers they provided were a nice touch, but they were dead on arrival without a charging cable in the room.
And while having a private pool sounds luxurious, its location next to a hiking trail meant zero privacy with only few steps away from bypassers. Sure, they provide us curtains, but then what's the point of having a view?
Showers could do with some lights as main ones don’t reach it and a full size mirror would have been great. Especially how big the rooms are there is plenty of space.
Overall, the Divine Experience Hotel fell short of its name. With some attention to detail and fixing these issues, it could truly live up to its divine reputation.
