Great location and perfect size. We were there peak week (xmas and new yers) and it was not crowded due to the limited overall number of rooms. Property was well kept and there were always towels and chairs on the beach. No need to scramble out there to "mark your territory" each morning. Our room was very small. Albeit it was a studio and the sq ft was reasonable, but the layout was very inefficient, which made the living area much smaller. Further, we had a small child with us and we were told in advance we could get a cot, but upon arrival, they said they do not provide in studios. This was annoying, but manageable. The room was clean, but simply small (even for two). The pool was also very cold and well under nighttime ambient air temperature. It was not in the shade, so it was as if they chilled it on purpose. The pool was also HEAVILY chlorinated to the point of painful eyes and nose. The cold pool kept this from 5 stars as we could get over the small size of the room, but the pool was disappointing -- and given it was always empty, mgmt should maybe figure that out. Note there is no restaurant or bar on site, but you can easily walk to other nearby hotels. This was a good trade in order to keep the crowd down. If the pool were on the ocean side and not frigid, this would be 5 stars and absolute gem.
