Terrible Management
We booked this hotel the same day in the morning while we were on the train traveling to Rome. When we arrived at the premises, the owner very nonchalantly indicated that the previously booked room which had been confirmed to be booked, he had already given to someone who passed by and happened to walk in and ask for a room to stay. He offered to pay a taxi for us to go and stay at a smaller and cheaper hotel that he booked with the money that we paid for his hotel. When the taxi arrived, thank God that I asked the taxi driver whether the owner of the hotel had arranged for PAYMENT, because if I had not asked this question, then the owner would’ve sent us to the other hotel without even paying for the taxi which he indicated he would pay to begin with. He was unbothered, unfriendly and impatient. He did not want to issue a refund for the room because he indicated that we had paid it through a third-party. When we got to the other hotel, their room was significantly smaller and he had booked two small beds instead of one queen bed for a couple, like we had booked at his hotel originally. Please, stay away from this hotel. Rome is filled with small convenient hotels who have friendly staff. It is not worth it to deal with these type of people. They are sneaky, deceitful, and obviously do not follow any rules or take accountability for any of their mistakes like we do in America. STAY AWAY! Enjoy your stay somewhere else!
