Public spaces are great! Hotel room is adequate.
Check in process was confusing. We are family of 5, and when making the reservation, I had to book two rooms, one parent and some children in each room.
This apparently resulted in two separate bookings as seen by the front desk, under different names. I had to show the receptionist the email confirmation and ultimately he was able to dig into what had happened and get us checked in.
Perhaps the hotel does not get many families with 3 young children checking in?
The hotel corridors, where the rooms are, are a bit tired and utilitarian.
The bathtub in room 411 had a panel on the outside that was rotting away. Otherwise the rooms were comfortable. The cots for the children were nicely setup in advance.
The kids loved the breakfast. The ground floor of the hotel had lots of lovely spaces. The gardens outside looked very inviting but we didn't have time to explore them.
I wish we could have spent more time at the hotel.
