10/8
We stayed for 3 nights as a family trip to Disney. Upon arrival, the hotel was very well decorated, had a pleasant smell on the first floor and we were met with friendly, accommodating staff.
The look of the hotel is very nice BUT it’s not exactly functional in some areas. For example, the elevators are in a breezeway, which just means it’s always hot while
Waiting for the elevator AND water floods the area when it rains, which is a lawsuit waiting to happen. This design choice is very flawed.
The room was very spacious and again, looked new and nice. It had pretty much everything you would need.
The breakfast was mediocre, in my opinion. I enjoyed the waffles and eggs. That’s about it. The coffee was not great.
The pool was FABULOUS! Great for adults and kids! Favorite part of our stay for sure.
We did use the washer/dryer combo, It took a long time to wash and dry but cool!
The sink in the bathroom was so narrow it was challenging to even wash your face and brush your teeth, but again… it looked nice. Also. You have to Remove the stopped to let the water out, which is strange. The shower has the half wall so when you shower, you can get cold from the opening.
The entire room has tile, which makes it easier to clean but I would suggest a rug under the bed and by the couch because as soon as I got out the shower, my feet got dirty and crumby.
Overall, I would stay here again but there are definitely some things that need more thought to make it a 4-5 star experience.
