This is the nicest hotel in the area, and while a bit more expensive than the others it is in great condition and has very good staff. Some thoughtful touches like evening snacks and warm cookies make it a friendly place as well. The rooms are a good size and are very modern. A small fridge in the rooms is a useful feature for longer stays.

Very Accomadating
Stay at this hotel fairly often for work. Nice rooms and nice staff. Because of my job, I check in and out and then come and go all hours of the day and night and have had no issues. Hotel is very accommodating no matter what. Please to stay there. Definitely will be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

Great as always but elevator was broke.
Everything was great except the elevator was broken for over half the time of our 5 night stay and we were put on the third floor when it was barely sold. Wonder why we were put up top and others had the bottom floor. Taking a Family of 5 up and down the stairs was taxing.

We do work in the area and it is very comfortable and convenient hotel for us to stay when we travel to this area. Everyone is nice and ready to help. We have stayed here several times over the last few months and will continue to stay here anytime we have work in the area.

Comfortable, clean and good restaurants nearby. A little too expensive. Also hotel. Com price was $40 more than the price directly from the hotel. I feel kind of ripped off because hotel.com should be a discount, not a markup.

Great service and a comfortable, quiet bed.
I was just looking for a place to stay overnight, and it served me very well. There is a good restaurant next door, called WOW. I had a problem with the TV and the front desk staff came immediately and fixed the problem. Got breakfast 15 minutes earlier than it was to be opened. Last time I came five minutes before breakfast closed and the host offered to make me fresh eggs since the buffet had run out. Great service and a comfortable, quiet bed.

One great night after fishing all day
Front desk clerk was ABSOLUTLEY awesome. I think her name was Katie but can't remember 😁. But either way, she was fantastic. I asked if we could upgrade to a suite, and she smiled and said "taken care of already"....really? That is awesome. Very clean room and hotel. The breakfast was probably the absolute best I have ever had at a hotel. (I am a travel agent and travel a lot, so that is saying something) the Omlet at breakfast was AMAZING.
The only complaint that I have was the price. One night totaled 203.15, that is ABSOLUTLEY ridiculous for this area. I used my points so I didn't out of pocket any money, but being a travel agent.... I know that is REALLY to high for the area. There were 2 cars in the parking lot at the hotel that night, but the courtyard (right next door) had a parking lot that was smacked filled. (Because their rate was like 130.00 a night) Cannot understand why a hotel in this area has such high prices but think it has something to do with oil industry. There were a lot of helicopters that were transferring people back and forth from oil rigs in gulf, so if the execs for these oil rig people (BP spill related) need a place to stay.....they know they can get top dollar from them. That's just how I feel. I could be wrong.....however I saw no other explanation.

Keep moving down the road...
I was ok, but not worth the money. I was there for three days, and the dehumidifier in the room was not working properly. It was cool but damp. They never fixed it. Also, they would leave the room door propped open after room cleaning, and forget to lock up.
Keep looking down the road... there are lots of more competitive better stays in the area.

Excellent staff, considerably overpriced for area
The staff was excellent. Probably the best service and friendliest we've ever received. However, I do believe the rooms were incredibly over priced for the location and the fact that they did not have a pool. I think titled the breakfast as "buffet" was a little misleading. Otherwise it was very nice. Clean and comfortable. The staff absolutely made the hotel.

Breakfast needs improvement
The hotel was being remodeled while I was here and was most likely why my room had little Styrofoam beads all over that came out of the heater/AC. Other than this it was a nice hotel but the breakfast was some of the worst I had at a Holiday Inn.

Perfect Location to visit grown son
After staying 5 days in New Orleans, my sister from Washington state, along with my husband and myself wanted to spend a few days near my son's home so she could reconnect and meet his girlfriend. I got a room at the Holiday Inn Express for two days--perfect location and convenient to stores and restaurants. Although the rate is pricey, I understand the supply and demand problems of the area. Nice hotel. We all enjoyed our stay.
