The rooms combine modern furnishings and fixtures with the traditional architecture of the building. The hostal is centrally located in the Puerta del Sol area; a great location, especially for solo travelers, with countless restaurants, bars and cafes and shops nearby, and within walking distance from major attractions such as the Prado Museum, El Retiro park, and the Royal Palace.

Restaurants around every corner, close to supermarkets and no more than a 20 minute walk to El Retiro park, great statues and place to relax and row a boat! Great location right in the Sol area. Room was only small but was big enough for the 2 of us and was more of a base than somewhere i was going to spend a lot of time in. Reception staff were all great, very friendly and room was cleaned in the daytime when we were out.
