I found Tru by Hilton in Flagstaff, AZ to be below par compared to other Hilton hotels. The size of the room is uncomfortable for 2 people; barely able to walk around bed. Not enough towels in bathroom. No maid service was provided when 'yawn' door sign was not displayed. It took 10 -15 minutes for water in shower to warm up. There was a loud clicking sound and a running water sound all night long. The room doors are extremely heavy and diffficult to open, especially for someone who has arthritis. The breakfast, while plentiful, was constantly cold and undercooked. Even the hot water and coffee provided was luke warm. There was no microwave to warm up coffee or food. Other guests were pigs and left a mess behind making it displeasing to eat breakfast in dining area. The kids constant screaming from playing fooseball also made it unenjoyable to eat in dining room. There is not enough handicap parking given the abundance of parking available. I witnessed many guests not picking up after their dog. I did not sleep well at all during my stay and it made my vacation unenjoyable because I was unrested and in discomfort. I also did not appreciate the $7/night parking fee which was not made obvious during booking. This was also extra discouraging when there was not enough handicap parking and I cannot walk far with my leg in a walking boot. I also did not appreciate a hotel guest using the garbage can by elevators as the place to throw their kids dirty diapers. How do you fix this?
