This property was excellent. It was clean and the staff was great. Breakfast was served at the exact time I requested it and there were restaurants and shopping all around. It was very convenient as it was walking distance to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain and Castle Sanâ Angel to name a few. Situated right in the middle of the city.
No lift !!! Medieval
How do u carry bags up the stairs
Didnât know about the lack of lift .
I have stayed at other B/B in Rome that were similar but have lifts/Elevators . No water to drink expected to lug it up . Itâs a travesty since I had already booked on Expedia Couldnât get in touch with them because of Wi-Fi signal issues.
My last day in Rome was not a good one .
me gusto mucho volveria a hospedarme allĂ
Stanza pulita e restrutturata d apoco...posizione fantastica, purtroppo la connessione inesistente e si trova al secondo piano senza l'utilizzo dell'ascensore....personale gentile
,colazione scarsa .....ma ci tornerei!
My husband and I took a two week trip around Europe for our honeymoon. Neither of us had been to Rome before, so we did a lot of research trying to find the best area to stay. Imperial Suite seriously is in the perfect location. It is right around the corner from the Colleseum and right next to the Roman Forum. Everything else is within walking distance as well. There is also everything you need just steps from the hotel such as shops and many restaurants.
The one thing I will say is that it is a little difficult to find. This isnât like your average hotel with the big entrance with a sign. It is directly across the street from the Ice Bar, but there is just a big wooden door without any real noticeable signage. We had to call them to be let in and then we had to walk up to the second floor. We were then met with a super nice young man who made us feel immediately welcomed. I would compare this to more of an Air B and B opposed to a hotel. It is very small with only a couple rooms, but the rooms were very cozy and inviting. Everyone we had contact with was extremely nice and always made sure we had everything we needed. They even provide breakfast which they bring right to your room! We were very happy with everything and really enjoyed our stay here! If we ever come back to Rome, we will absolutely stay here again!
Everything was good and clean. The morning breakfast was good. The Colloseum was a 4-5 minute walk, the Roman Forum was a 2 minute walk. The only complaint I had was that the lift was not available. It was locked every time we tried it. I don't know if that was the building the hotel is in though. But other than that, great stay.
Do NOT book this hotel. It's impossible to find - entrance is unmarked in a narrow alleyway. Despite booking in January for a trip in late May and having a confirmation email 4 days prior to our stay we got there and were first told we were at the wrong hotel and then were told they did not have our reservation. All of this made more complicated by the lack of english by the one employee working there. I attempted to contact Hotels.com for help but got very little help because the phone connection was terrible and the Hotels.com customer service staff do not speak good enough english. The hotel "rebooked" us to another hotel where we had to pay extra and it turns out to be an apartment with no wifi, no soap, no free breakfast, etc. Now Hotels.com is telling me that I was given an upgrade and the property was also owned by the Imperial Suite and that free breakfast, etc. was not part of my original reservation. This is now 2 weeks after returned home and no one is helping resolve this issue. I doubt I will use Hotels.com again and I would tell anyone that does not speak Italian to definitely NOT book the Imperial Suite!!!
