Good island, bad cops
Hotel was a good stay. Good location and convenient. No complaints about the stay. Don’t hesitate to book and stay here 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✅✅✅✅✅✅
This 1 star review serves as a travel advisory for anyone looking to rent a motorcycle service in the lobby of this hotel. Not once did they tell us how corrupt thai police are. They will stop you for no helmet, no shirt, no international driver license and every little thing. Don’t even try to talk right or wrong with them, they will get mad ant you. All they want is your money, pay them half the ticket fee or full price at the police station. Thai police pulled tourists over and hassle them for money over traffic laws that the locals don’t even follow.
Good hotel but you guys should at least warn your guests about these scam or maybe the locals are in on it too?
The police always set up trap at the busy traffic circle of Patong and every tourist gets pulled over even with helmets on while three underage thai kids with no helmet riding on one motorcycle speeding thru without a problem.
Get with your police department and tell them to stop harassing tourists who come here and spend money in on your town. This is pathetic.
