Everything about my stay was enjoyable. Check-in was quick and the lady at the desk was welcoming. Everyone was super nice and the room great. The included hot breakfast buffet was really nice and featured a good variety of offerings. I did not take advantage of the pool or fitness center during my stay. I did get a view of the pool from my room and it looked nice. They were kind enough to hold my bags for a few hours after I checked out so I could stroll around the convention floor one last time before headed home. They are walking distance from Diakin Park, George R Brown Convention Center, Discovery Green, and Toyota Center. They aren't too far from the middle of downtown (main street corridor) and the walk isn't bad, but there is a light-rail stop near the hotel for those who want an alternative to walking.
