Patong/The Gig experience
Location : 10/8, 10mins from the beach through the famous Bangla road.
Room: 10/7, Nothing exceptional,but it's fine for a few days or week. Aircondition above the bed is silly idea,made me ill.There are no hangers in the room,difficult to arrange your clothes,stuff
Swimming pool/bar : 10/10,exceptional view,good sauna and gym
Staff: 10/8, just need to smile and they will be friendly with you
Breakfast : 10/6, dont expect much.Fruits are nice however the main dishes are boring (soup,noodle,eggs). Quality of the bakery products are terrible.After a few days we were only having fruits and skipped the rest.
Patong beach : 10/6, we visited most of the beaches on a scooter.Patong is the dirtiest and ugliest.If you are looking for the night life stay here.If you need peace,go to Kata noi,Kamala
Extra: Scooter costs approx 250/day in front of the hotel.Daily tour to Phi Phi has list price of 3200,you can get it for 1500 BHT.There is a noodle bar next to the hotel just after a tattoo salon,price and quality is great,don't be afraid of how the place looks like.Enjoy
