Clean, simple, great area - perfect for any trip to Busan. The views are amazing and you definitely get what you expect when you choose an ocean view room! Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a building with others so look for the signs and know it is a shared elevator (for clarity). We had a great stay!

Pusan Fireworks Festival Stay
Marine View occupies two floors of a 15 story building with various other hotels on the other floors. Clean, looks recently renovated, a bit small but adequate. A bit pricey but primarily due to location immediately adjacent to beach and festival taking place during our stay. Friendly professional staff and great access to Heaundae Beach.

This hotel is only one of several in the two-sided high rise that sits right across the street from Gwangalli beach. Location address is a bit vague, and the entrance to building is not clearly marked (alleyway on the right). Luckily, a very nice British
/Korean couple helped us find it). The staff was very attentive despite knowing limited English. The room was exactly as described during booking. Very clean and comfortable although somewhat small. The hotel offers a daily limited continental breakfast (3 types of bread with butter/jam, egg salad, or cheese toppings; juice; fruit; yogurt; instant ramyeon, coffee and tea). They also have free access to a washer/dryer for guests to launder their clothes (Soap and Softner provided). We had a beach view room, and it was absolutely stunning. Room was quiet, but not completely soundproof (heard the neighbors alarm although mostly muted). Great location for food and just walking about. Easy access to transportation sources for sightseeing. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The place was nice but not so quiet, as there is a karaoke place in the next buildint, plus the first night some people were stomping down on the floor above.
I do agree that the place is very nice, but I had booked a room that said see view, and eventually had a partial see view, as the building next to it was hiding half of it.
Also my place was never cleaned while I was there, I had the button do not disturb on at all times, and could not remove it.
The elevator is kinda bad for the standing of the place.
For the check out, no one was at the reception.
Plus sides: conveniently located, large room, and great sitting area. And a boiler.
Minus: noisy, not fitting the description, not a lot of storage (not recommended for long term stay).

Just okay…
Things that saved this hotel from a lower rating: friendly staff at the front desk, good location and easy to walk right over to the beach and to nearby restaurants. Otherwise, the hotel is a bit difficult and a bit of a letdown. Parking is a nightmare, underground is always full because they allow the public to use it rather than just hotel guests, they block off many of the regular spots to save them for “larger cars”, and the men that direct the parking down there are so incredibly rude. Also no good parking in the immediate area. If you are traveling with a car, I would reconsider staying here. Something that was not clear when booking (we booked on hotels.com) is that this hotel is not its own building, it is only 2 floors (11th and 12th floors) in a large building made up of about 5 different hotels. There are 2 elevators that are shared for the whole building, for all the hotel guests and those parked in the garage, expect to wait a long time, to ride in a full elevator, and to stop at multiple floors along the way. If we would forget something in the room we would just go without because it wasn’t worth going back up to the room.
Air conditioning worked very well. Shower did not drain well, and we didn’t really understand the concept of having a window (with traditional string blinds) in the shower between the bathroom and the rest of the room. Bed was hard as a rock, pillows too, and bedding was a bit scratchy. Partial ocean view has an extreme emphasis on partial.

Un séjour absolument exceptionnel au Marine View Hotel de Busan !
Tout était parfait du début à la fin. L’hôtel est impeccable, avec une vue magnifique et des installations de grande qualité. Le confort des chambres et la propreté irréprochable rendent l’expérience encore plus agréable.
Mais ce qui fait vraiment la différence, c’est le personnel. Une équipe incroyablement professionnelle, chaleureuse et attentive, toujours prête à aider avec le sourire.
Je tiens particulièrement à souligner leur honnêteté et leur efficacité : j’avais malheureusement oublié une pochette contenant des médicaments importants (dont des injections), et ils ont pris l’initiative de me l’expédier rapidement à mon hôtel suivant. Tout est arrivé en temps et en heure, parfaitement organisé. Un service au-delà de toutes attentes !
Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour leur gentillesse et leur sérieux. Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés et j’y reviendrai sans hésiter !
