This is the worst Iâve ever experienced. Ever. Not only did we have a mandatory online $250 additional deposit in addition to the room charge for 1 night, it contradicted online information as a âholdâ (not charged to my credit card). I was told it would be reversed in 3-5 business days as a charge to my credit card. I was refused written receipts at the desk to this effect. That night I went to the bathroom barefoot and got a shard of glass lodged in my foot. The bathtub was darkly stained (brown). In the morning we had cleaning staff enter our room 1 hr before checkout, telling us that our room was âchecked out and listed as vacantâ. I refused to let them in. I then received a phone call that we were not supposed to be in the room. The front desk was âunawareâ of the mistake and said theyâd inform the manager. At no time did anyone assist. They ignored my request for a simple plastic bag to help me separate rain-soaked clothes from dry clothing in my luggage. WE DO NOT have anything plastic. But, all their waste bins have plastic bags. The continental (breads only) breakfast was a competition just for a tiny basket of 10 croissants. Just 1 staff person desperately trying to refill milk, bread, juice during 8:00 am ârush periodâ. No food at 10am. This is a sorely outdated and sad hotel. Donât stay here at any price per night. We paid almost $200 for a double bedroom, plus a $250 additional deposit. No help from the front desk!
