Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was in a great location. Good proximity to all the local attractions this made the experience. Especially as you have to pay to use the loo pretty much everywhere here, the hotel being so close to everything made it easy to nip back to the room during the day to use the loo if needed.
Only negatives were, the hairdryer in the room did not work and the soap in the bathroom was “all in one” so was horrible for using on hair. It needed separate shampoo, conditioner etc ideally.
Our room was right next to the internal door on our floor which was not great as every-time someone entered or left it slammed which as a light sleeper was less than ideal. We also had a cathedral view room which seems lovely until you get to the evening and a DJ in the Christmas market opposite starting playing music until midnight at full volume.
This really is a good hotel though, would only take a few tweaks to make it a great one. Some warning on the market opposite at this time of the year would have been useful though as I would have much rather had the option to pay less for a quieter room not facing the noise.
